I withheld some information from you, sorry. The building authority has no plans on file and I have also been to the office several times without success. A deadline was set for him to provide us with the plans and also to send a confirmation from the city about the submission.

The communication was strange in that emails were not always responded to; my proposed appointments were considered accepted if there was no response ("If we don't get back to you, then that's fine").

What do you do for a living? Maybe you ended up with a "Typ schaffer" and not a manager...

what does my profession have to do with it?

The guy or rather the guys (brothers) are currently not managing anything at all. At acquaintances where the property management is done by the company, there has also been silence for quite some time.

Well, you probably have a communicative job and get emails every minute that you process. I find the brothers quite likeable.

Sounds like billed services and feigned service provision followed by disappearing based on this information. That would be fraud. Of course, I cannot judge that from just these few lines. Basically, my experience has been that communication leads to solutions. With fraud, bilateral communication comes to an end. Anyone who defrauds me will receive a criminal complaint. Money will be claimed back with interest. If that is fruitless, the last resort as a creditor is to file for the opponent’s insolvency. Fraudsters should be put out of circulation.
