Architect --> Agreements? What is that?

I thought architects are not general contractors? :confused: Don’t architects usually do a tender and you have to sign the offer?

He decided alone on the heating, we were supposed to choose the tiles ourselves, he decided on the stairs himself, and he got a quote for the sanitary items. When I asked him, he finally revealed exactly what he ordered... and if I hadn’t asked, he would have installed it as chosen, and I probably would have fainted backwards..... And that is the problem now.... do we have to take the sanitary items he chose?
