He is writing osb, so they are located on the wall, not on the ceiling!

Presumably a prefabricated house, so 600m2 is possible.

He wrote in the initial post that it is only about the ceiling cladding... but now that I read it again, you're probably right..

And sure, then the values fit.

Hello

had to step away for a moment.

It is correct that it is a prefabricated house. All walls already have the OSB boards attached, and the ceiling of the upper floor (ONLY THIS CEILING is relevant).

So that would be about 600 sqm, and to return to the initial question, what does it roughly cost if a company handles the installation of the boards?

I’m asking the price out of interest (it’s a legitimate question in a construction forum), and I am also aware that regional differences exist. But I just want a rough estimate and not: “It depends on ..., 80 EUR.” The question is whether it is closer to 2,000 EUR or rather 7,000 EUR, since the labor for 600 sqm probably hits fully, or if there are possibly flat rates like “per sqm installation (regardless of wall or ceiling such-and-such EUR).”

I wrote so much in the initial description about the ceiling and gable roof because it might have an influence on the result (gable roof unlike flat roof).

I’m really not asking about the last 500-700 EUR but only rough values or possibly own experiences, what builders have had charged in their cost breakdown or by the drywall contractor.

Many thanks in advance and have a nice Sunday.

Regards

Hankovic

I don't understand anymore - so it's the ceiling after all, how do you then come to 600 sqm???

Didn't you get a single quote beforehand?

All walls of the 1.5-story house and additionally ONLY THE CEILING of the upper floor. Conversely, you could also say, everything inside EXCEPT THE CEILING OF THE GROUND FLOOR. The knee wall in the upper floor is about 1.20m, probably therefore more than in a normal standard 1.5-story house.

We want to do it ourselves, but if it doesn’t fit due to work, we have the money left to have it done.

For that reason, I am asking generally for approximate values. As you already said, you can’t do it exactly anyway.

What did you pay for your 120 sqm or what costs were you able to credit as your own work or calculate?
