American house - Which house builder is recommended?

We don’t have a Swedish house even though it almost looks like one. The wall construction with massive wooden exterior walls is similar to Thoma Haus. No idea if they still exist in the same form as over 20 years ago. Our general contractor was Zellbau in Bad Waldsee, which no longer exists. It was carried out by Holzbau Walser in Bad-Schussenried, whom I can warmly recommend – both professionally and personally, and there is a lot of nice stuff to see on their homepage. I’m very happy about the thread. I really like this style and would have liked to build one or two more bay windows, a front veranda, and even a turret at our place :)

I would only build with regional construction companies nowadays. In your case, I recommend a company near you that specializes in timber frame construction. They also work together with architects.
