Alternative to tile backsplash?

Glass with a white back and a customized color-matched motif on the front. Four parts, various sockets ... I think around 2000 euros. When I found out how expensive a tile backsplash is, the price seemed more reasonable to me.

I had that in the old apartment, I don't think it works well at all. After 3-4 years, it looks so bad that you have to repaint. Currently, we bought suitable tiles at the hardware store and glued them all around with silicone. It looks great and is still very inexpensive.

I myself had textured plaster for 13 years, which was painted and then clear-coated. Always perfect!!!

We had the back panel clad with the same material as the countertop. It looks very good and is easy to maintain.

We had a custom-made board with a printed design made by the kitchen studio. Really not cheap (900€), but it fits exactly into every corner, even around the sockets. Dirt and splashes are not visible at all.
