Air-water heat pump with enclosure, yes or no

Enclosures for heat pumps are completely normal, although rarely encountered. There are special enclosures to guarantee the airflow (I mainly know those from Remko). The heat pump is not walled in with "walls," but possibly even attractively packaged. Just google [Einhausungen für Wärmepumpe] and get inspired. I cannot say if all heat pumps are suitable for this, but I assume so.

As long as the air flows are not obstructed, you can enclose them... I don't think the development plan is so wrong, having the ugly parts standing around looks pretty bad in many new housing areas.

I would just install a proper air-to-water heat pump right away. For example, IDM iPUMP A2-7. It looks great and you don’t even hear it at full load. I wouldn’t know why you would need an enclosure for it. Except maybe for cheap pumps.
