Hello forum members,
I am currently deciding between district heating or an air-to-water heat pump.
What do you think is the better/cheaper alternative?
Key data:
Distance from street to utility room approx. 40m.
Compact station without installation: 600 €
Connection costs for water/district heating/electricity: 2500 €
Cost of pipe for 40m district heating: 115€/m*40m =4600 €
Total for district heating without installation: 5200 €
GÜ credit if air-to-water heat pump is omitted approx. 8000 €
Is the extra cost for the air-to-water heat pump and the "independence" gained from the utility company worth it?
Regards
Steffen
