Additional window in the shell construction

The shell of the building is already up and now we have realized that an additional window in the living room would be quite good for reasons of brightness. That is possible, but since an additional layer of small-format filling needs to be installed above the window, in the case of a roller shutter there would be a height difference to the adjacent patio door. In other words: with a roller shutter, the top edge of the new window would be 30 cm below the top edge of the patio door. And that looks silly. So we thought we would leave out the roller shutter, because then everything would be at the same height. The window would then have safety glass and a blind on the inside. Question: from your point of view, does it disturb the appearance if all the windows and the patio door have a roller shutter and only one window does not? We’ve been going back and forth and are no longer sure whether we should leave out the window entirely. But in the corner it would then be "a bit" dark. Even with an external roller shutter or venetian blind the appearance would be different. I just can’t estimate right now how it would look... Thanks for tips

If the new window faces north/northwest, I would not choose a roller shutter for aesthetic reasons. The sun would only shine in late in the evening, so shading would not necessarily be needed. Otherwise, I find the option of external shading (by whatever means) very important to keep the heat outside.

Yes, the new window would face north. We cannot use a roller shutter (except one that is mounted on the outside and not above the window like the others). My main concern was whether it looks odd from inside and outside if the patio door has a roller shutter and the new window next to it does not. I'm not worried about heat because, as mentioned, it faces north and at least has a blind on the inside.

I think at first glance it is not noticeable.

When I look at my window here (still rental apartment) with the shutter fully open from the inside, one could also think there is none.
And in the bedroom, where there is none because of the corner windows, it is also not noticeable from the inside. There is just no strap and the reveal is not made of plastic, but wallpapered.

It might possibly be noticeable from the outside, mainly if the R-boxes on the other windows are mounted on the facade outside. (I gather that this is not the case).
Otherwise, just take a look on the goog** image search.

Don’t be fooled by the brightness in a shell construction! I recently painted our basement white, it feels and looks visually 5 times brighter.

The building permit does not include the window now .... build first, then submit afterwards? I don’t know... ops:
