Additional housing costs - What counts as ongoing expenses?

Yes and no.... anyone who builds a house might be thinking about such topics for the first time. At least that's how it was for me... studies, wedding, after 2 years in the profession: building and thinking about the future.

Everyone should be able to assess for themselves what counts as relevant for them and what does not. I even calculate more pessimistically... since moving, we drive much more by car, not just to work. But that's more because we no longer have a supermarket within walking distance. In a rented apartment, I don't urgently need [BU Versicherung] if the partner is able to cover the rent.

Thank you very much! I already have RV and BU, so the discussion is unnecessary. I was interested in the difference between rent and owning a home, as that does play a role in calculating the monthly loan repayment. So again, thanks :).
