Additional costs due to incorrectly planned ventilation system + floor-to-ceiling windows?

Can't answer that, have it installed with whatever the craftsman is familiar with. I have a Novelan myself, hydraulically demanding, but runs very well. If it should be the Novelan, then rather the LADV5 which modulates..

He probably installs Novelan and also gets a subsidy from BAFA for it. LADV5.... doesn't mean anything to me^^ I really just want these things to work.

If you now have the option to have the heat pump inside the house for an extra €400 instead of outside (garage roof), is this sensible in terms of durability.

The LADV5 is the newer successor of the LAD5 and, as mentioned, can modulate. I have never dealt with the question of inside or outside. Durability, I believe, is not really an argument, rather noise emission. The Novelan, for example, uses propane as a refrigerant, which I believe can only be used indoors to a limited extent. Propane is just an inexpensive refrigerant and has little impact on the climate. Fluorinated refrigerants, on the other hand, are real climate killers when leaking.
