Novelan probably installs it and is also supported with a subsidy from BAFA. LADV5.... means nothing to me^^ I really just want these things to run. If you now have the option to have the heat pump inside the house instead of outside (garage roof) for an additional 400€, this is sensible in terms of durability.
The LADV5 is the newer successor of the LAD5 and, as mentioned, can modulate. I have never dealt with the question of inside or outside. Durability, I believe, is not really an argument, rather noise emission. The Novelan, for example, uses propane as a refrigerant, which I believe can only be used indoors to a limited extent. Propane is just an inexpensive refrigerant and has little impact on the climate. Fluorinated refrigerants, on the other hand, are real climate killers when leaking.
