Good evening,

Starting in March, I will build a bungalow according to Kfw70 Energy Saving Ordinance 2014. Currently, I am wondering whether to equip my heating system with solar heating support or not. My energy saving certificate states a primary energy demand of 41 kWh/a per m2. I am installing a gas heating system. Now to my question: How far off is this figure from the actual future consumption?

To calculate the amortization, I also need the actual effect of heating support.

Perhaps there are knowledgeable people in this forum who can help me with my decision.

Thank you in advance.

Thomas

You can only guess, since the 41 kWh/m^2 exactly corresponds to the KfW70 Energy Saving Ordinance 2014 calculation (there is no funding for KfW70, does this standard even still exist – or are only the ht qp values corresponding?).
Thus, we basically only have one piece of information from you, and can only guess the actual consumption. So we actually know nothing about your bungalow, the surroundings, the climate conditions, and how much solar support you are planning.
Since we don't have a working crystal ball, we can only guess.

Tendentially, heating costs are so low according to the current energy standards that nothing "pays off" (you don't get any money back anyway), and saving the investment will be difficult. If you save 10% on heating costs, you simply pay 5€ less per month.

Maybe the complete file will help? Thank you for the feedback.

What does the heating load calculation according to DIN 12831 say?!

The heat load calculation is not available to me. Are there perhaps home builders who have already completed a year and can start a comparison?

That is exactly why I asked for further information. For homeowners, the important factors for comparison are not the Energy Saving Ordinance class, but rather the building shape, location (the Alps simply have a different climate than the North Sea!), construction method, etc.
