We have started laying new pavement at our 20-year-old house. I chose a gray mix made of concrete. Now part of it is laid, and it looks quite awful, probably also because the pavement at the neighboring houses already looks unattractively gray. I actually like the pavement, but at the moment it looks bright gray-blue. It just doesn’t fit at all - okay, it’s not finished yet. The stairs will still get a stainless steel railing. But maybe one could still change their mind now. I actually didn’t want beige and red. This pavement will probably become grayer and lighter over time, right?

No gray, no blue, no beige, no red. You are practically asking the forum which bandage you might like. Unfortunately, no one can make the decision for you. I find the bandage absolutely attractive. It is almost finished, give the new look a chance, it will be fine.

I’m afraid you’re right. Sometimes you need someone to tell you that so clearly ;-)

I think it's great. Green rod mat, standard concrete paving, RAL 7016 - something other than the same old thing is possible. Dare to be different!

What are you trying to tell me with that? :) Where is the green bar mat?

I didn't mean you! :) But as said, give the unconventional laying pattern a chance.
