Hello everyone,
I have already checked if this topic exists, but I was not successful.
I have four connected Pax cabinets and have fitted them with sliding doors.

My problem now is the end trims between cabinet 2 & 3. Normally, metal strips are mounted at the ends, but unfortunately, when connecting all cabinets, there is no space.

Do I have to pull the cabinets apart, leave out the trims, or is there a better solution?

Hello, the question has been asked before, but I don’t mean no or no clear solution. I would leave it without strips if there are no problems with that, otherwise separate the carcasses. It would also be conceivable to process the strips so that they can be screwed on like that, but for me the effort would be too great.

This problem has also recently come up for me. I chose a solution that may seem somewhat elaborate, but looks quite decent.

In my case, I got cut-to-size pieces of birch plywood measuring 236 cm x 10 cm x 1.2 cm from OBI. Before I attached this "strip" between the cabinets (of course not between the cabinets that share the sliding doors) as a kind of spacer strip, I had to adapt the narrow front edge with black self-adhesive foil to match the design of the cabinets. I recessed the "strip" about 6 mm on the outer (right or left) corpus side of the cabinets. However, for this, I had to get extended connector screws. The original screws (100402 & 100644) are now naturally too short by the thickness of the strip.

Since I am brand new here, I don’t yet know if or how I can upload photos here...

Regards Eckart

In the top picture, the spacer bar is hardly visible, yes, black on black.

Therefore, in the second picture, a horizontal section. The situation between cabinet 2 and cabinet 3 is schematically shown.

Unfortunately, this does not exactly match the photo, as here a cabinet with sliding door stands next to a cabinet with hinged door. If there are any uncertainties, just ask again...
