The wall runs parallel to the field. The farmer does not have to turn here.

Does the rule regarding the town area also apply in Baden-Württemberg?

Where exactly - what hasn't been harvested yet? - next year he'll keep 5 cm more distance when sowing *LOL* - anyone who can really drive a tractor with 5 cm accuracy isn't bothered by that at all.

Swinging, not crossing. We're talking here about that part of the turning circle which is used for the swing space of the raised attachment (plow, harrow, etc.), nothing more. It would fail solely due to the unevenness of the field to make the tractor creep so precisely by autopilot that you could clear the swing space to within half a decimeter. On a field, you couldn't even do that so precisely with an electric forklift.

The swing space is needed at the ends of the furrows.

This is surely a farmer like many others in our area. Every year, they plow a few centimeters over the border. I also have a piece of land where I practically had to secure the boundary stones. Since then, there are two more or less visible iron rods on the boundary. If he catches the plow on them, something is supposed to be broken. Since then, the distance is meticulously observed.

At 4.5 cm, he should first prove whether he can even measure that accurately.

I’m afraid not. So far I only find for BW:

§ 11 Dead enclosures (1) With dead enclosures, a boundary distance of 0.50 m must be maintained towards properties that are used agriculturally. If the dead enclosure is higher than 1.50 m, the distance increases proportionally to the additional height, except for wire fences and barriers.

Thank you very much for the lively participation in my thread!

There is a new interim result: By straightening the boundary post, it is now about 3 cm!
I met with the farmer and measured together.
In a week, the gardener will join. I hope we can reach an agreement. I am now optimistic again.
