3 years done - still haven't found a ceiling lamp for the kitchen!

We are probably crazy. We can't find a ceiling lamp that both of us like for the kitchen. But there is only crap anyway. We don't want these damn LEDs. That rules out 50% of the lamps right away. Then we need a lot of light, at least 3000 lumens. We both have poor eyesight. That rules out another 30%, because lamps these days are apparently not meant for lighting anymore. That leaves 20% that we simply don't like or that are too expensive (>500,-€). This is so annoying. Does anyone know a lamp shop that doesn't carry the Stinoware, but has something different? Show us what kind of lamps you have if you feel like it. Maybe we will like that too. :(

Do you think you will get newer ideas?

Well, I thought I'd see what the others have.

We are planning a busbar system, for example from Paulmann. One above the work surface and another with 3 pendant lamps above the counter. Properly positioned, they should cast little or no shadow. Ideas can also be taken from Big White 2017 (slv).

I can totally understand you. We also searched forever but it was somewhat easier for us because we wanted LEDs in all the lamps.

We haven't had a lamp in the living and dining room for 2 years.

Okay, well, we still have the two lamp holders. :-D
