It still wouldn’t have been enough. And it is currently running – or was running even longer when it was about the modalities. In addition, there is a bonus upon payout if ..... I’ll spare you the details. In any case, it makes more sense this way.

Thank you

The €300 instalment makes me nauseous. So much every month for nothing at all...

...fortunately!

The main thing is that you are happy with this financing and can start the renovation. Congratulations

High is relative and it is not for nothing. You are paying the incidental purchase costs with it ... Otherwise, you would first have to save up that amount.

And that is actually the problem, they are over 30 and haven't managed to save for the incidental purchase costs and have now tied themselves to an extra 300 euros on top of the mortgage for the house.

These 15,000 euros are not really an achievement, the [vwl] x2 should cover that plus a few euros.

But to really assess this properly, more information is still missing.

Completely fine. Either you save beforehand or "like this". At least it makes the main interest cheaper.

Besides, (if you consider the 8 years) these are a maximum of 3200€ costs.

And what did I write?

That wouldn't suit me! Even if it suits others.
