With us, it's 7 companies for 4 semi-detached houses ;-)
That's the crucial difference.
Friends of ours have built one half of a semi-detached house from there and I haven't really heard anything negative.

What I find really worst about new housing developments: When all the houses are the same color. In the past, it was the red roofs, now it's anthracite. The question is whether this can be avoided by allowing more colors? Or will the majority still follow the current trend anyway?
