Thank you very much for the previous answers.
: I really like your suggestion with the exchange. I can’t believe I didn’t notice that myself :)

: If a third child comes, we would like to be able to convert this into another children's room. Until then, it is intended to serve, among other things, as an office.

Because of the height difference, I have attached another drawing with our idea.

The yellow area is the existing terrain.
The light blue area is to be filled with the earth that will be removed for the house.

the attachments: what are you doing with them?
They are not fully readable in tapatalk (without fonts) and on the computer I always get complaints because of the tahoma font.
Maybe change something about that, at least choose a common font.

Hello Yvonne, create the drawings with Sketch Up from Google. I have not yet figured out how to change the font there.

As of today, it is pointless to illustrate this visually. On the one hand, because Normalnull (NN) is missing, as well as the specification from the city GM regarding where to measure for eaves height or ridge height (TH/FH). Only with these reference values can the height of the top edge of the finished floor as well as the subsequent terrain profile be determined.

On the other hand, you cannot yet know whether the excess soil is suitable for refilling. Additional foundation costs often lie in wait here; these only become apparent upon submission of the soil report.

Rhenish greetings

Honestly? Hide the floor plan quickly! Take everything you have about the property (cadastral map, site plan, photos, ...) and write down your wishes and requirements for the house in full sentences. With that, go to the architect, who will then sketch a design. Ideally, he does this for free. When the first rough draft is available, you decide together whether the chemistry is right and you want to continue. If yes, good; if not, go to another architect.
