There are already about 1000 brochures at home and we are also actively reading and gathering experiences from acquaintances ;) So for us, it is like this: we are not under time pressure, I will soon be able to call the plot my own, and there is no building obligation for us, plus my parents' house is nearby and we would stay there during the construction period. Just saying this in passing...

My first question now: what experience do you have with basement construction? WU shell or masonry?? What are the advantages and disadvantages of both?

So it is not a flood area or high groundwater table for us.

As said, the plot will soon be purchased and will be bought entirely through our own efforts without a loan.
That means we only need a loan for the house construction, it should be a single-family house, solid construction with a basement, two stories, about 130 - 140 m² living space, double garage with passage to the house.

What costs can one approximately expect here?

House with basement and as Kfw 70 efficiency house - TEUR 235
Garage with access to the house - TEUR 16.5
Alternatively prefabricated garage - TEUR 13
Additional building costs - TEUR 35

Results in an investment requirement of TEUR 286.5 or TEUR 283 plus reserves for extras like higher quality sanitary fixtures, new kitchen, etc.
