Hello Nanopixel,
I don’t see an unsolvable problem here. My suggestion is to have your locksmith make 3 unequal-sided angles 150x75x8 or so and screw them into the door openings. Leave 50mm clearance on the left and right with the angle to the window reveal, and then place a WPC board on this angle. That way, you have the same laying direction in the reveals as on the rest of the balcony.
The new angle just needs to be set deeper according to the thickness of the WPC boards. This way, the galvanized frame visible from above remains visible and you won’t have any problems with your sealing at the bottom. Make 3-4 holes per angle in your flat steel cheek, cold re-galvanize (can’t be done differently now), screw on the angle, be happy.
Minimal effort for the solution to your problem.
