Would you build a prefab house again?

I am new here and currently dealing with the topic of prefabricated houses vs. solid houses. Strangely, I couldn't find any surveys or similar on the internet about this. I am simply interested in whether you would choose to build a prefabricated house again or rather a solid one? I think many prospective builders are asking themselves this question.

I think the question is nonsense. What insight are you hoping to gain? All the pros and cons on this topic have been discussed multiple times, hardly any builder who has decided on underfloor heating will probably ruin the most expensive purchase of their life themselves. The few exceptions certainly have such individual reasons that the survey again offers no added value. So what do you really want to know?

I know that many individual factors play a role. For me, it is initially only about getting an overall picture or a tendency. Assuming that out of 100 builders here, 99 respond with yes, that already says something. I also understand that you still always have to be very careful on an individual basis.

So if someone can't admit that next time they would prefer to build massively because somehow that spoils life in the here and now for them, that's also ok. They probably don't even vote before lying to themselves? Whatever. I'm interested. Maybe that's enough as a justification

Assuming here 99 out of 100 builders answer yes,

I estimate that about 5 builders here are still active who live in a prefabricated house. If now these 5 participate in the survey, it doesn't say anything, because the other 100 who were active here during the construction phase in the last 3 years have left the forum.

Anyone who builds a prefabricated house does so out of conviction. The objective comparison is missing anyway, since many have moved from a solid house built without energy saving regulations. You are comparing apples to oranges.
