Worktop thickness and induction hob

Hello,

I wanted to buy the Nutid HIN4T induction cooktop at Ikea for my kitchen. Now I noticed that Ikea states on the information page that the cooktop is suitable for all countertops with a thickness of 3.8 cm.
Mine is only 2.8 cm.

Does this only matter if there is a drawer under the cooktop?
I have no drawer in my cabinet directly under the cooktop.

It would be nice if someone could enlighten me on this topic.

that depends on the installation situation. there must be at least 2 cm of air under the cooktop. also take a look at the installation instructions.

then nothing stands in the way of installation. the first "drawer" is blind in my cabinet anyway and then follow 2 drawers. perfect .... :D

P.S.: To ensure sufficient ventilation, it would be advantageous if you use the corpus of the oven cabinet and install the drawers there.
