With whom to renovate the apartment in Stuttgart?

Hello, unfortunately I am not familiar with renovations, how best to proceed there. Is it better to find someone who does everything, or should you organize the individual craftsmen yourself? That’s how we have always done it in our apartments so far, looking for the individual craftsmen ourselves. Does anyone have experience here in Stuttgart? Would it be allowed in this forum to name companies/architects, or would that be covert advertising? Unfortunately, we don’t know anyone here who has renovated before who could recommend someone to us... I never quite trust the reviews and really don’t know whom we should choose. Maybe someone here can help us.

There is a moderated section here called "Experiences with Construction Companies," but it mainly concerns construction companies for new buildings. It’s best if you describe what the apartment is about, how old it is, and so on. Does the housing association management not know anyone to recommend, or is the apartment in a self-managed homeowners’ association?
