With which stones are houses built?

With KS, which we had installed, according to several statements, there is less risk of settling and thus crack formation. Also, there is Styrofoam on the outside, which has some flexibility and may forgive small tensions. However, the KS stones are damn heavy and very difficult to cut or later mill the slots. For us, the stones came from the factory in a kind of "Lego system," meaning all stones were already planned and cut. With the huge blocks (100 x 50 cm, 300 kg heavy!), one floor was completed in 2-3 days with a crane and 2-3 men.

I have now heard of a company that makes all floor slabs without foundation, with and without a basement, 75 cm of crushed stone compacted firmly and 25 cm of concrete with reinforcing mesh. PS, the neighboring houses to me do not crack as much either. I am now buying the building plot anyway 5 km away from the municipality, is the ground there always tested for load-bearing capacity?
