May I ask what is bad about modern PVC windows?
There are very good ones. Basically not bad.
Thank you. My wife wants gray windows (inside and outside) and in the end the extra cost for plastic + foiling compared to aluminum might not be that high...
The color should be available without special production, so no special surcharge.
I think co-extrusion is good, but it is probably not done very often?
A lift-and-slide door or front door can also be purchased in plastic. But for these areas, there are better frame materials - namely aluminum.
With dark foil, the plastic version is not ideal because it tends to warp with direct sun exposure. We have 4 plastic patio doors - the next time I would have them executed as front doors - not a big mistake but they say you build the first house for the enemy, the second for a friend, and the third for yourself. We still need one. I also tend towards aluminum.
