We had aluminum and dismantled it 5 years ago and replaced it with granite. The aluminum had torn out our ETICS after about 15 years due to expansions so that rainwater could get behind the plaster and cause it to swell. The plasterer then recommended granite to us.
The designation is Nero India flamed with drip edge.
Hoihoi..I'm reopening the thread again...^^ We have aluminum window sills in 7016 here. My wife and I are fond of granite. You build once and it should be proper. Honestly, we never really thought about the choice of window sills. We really like this type of stone! Do you or anyone have a tip on where we could get the window sills somewhat cheaper?^^ Feel free to send a private message.
One builds once and it should already be reasonable.
That one should install proper stuff, agreement - but, (assuming that ´87 refers to your birth year) I do not share the assessment that the current one will also be your last built house. This "principle" applied when eightieth birthdays were a rarity and only deserted and widowed people married a second time.
