Hello,



I would see it exactly the other way around. If my construction company can’t keep deadlines even when giving a quote, how should it be during the actual construction phase? Delays can of course happen, for whatever reasons. But a call from the provider is enough, and no one will be angry with them. As the client, I don’t have to keep calling relentlessly...

It’s not about the "calling afterwards," as a customer you are allowed to expect to actually receive an offer. My customers at the car dealership expect that too. A different matter is the attitude of some customers who think that with my money, which I pay for house construction, car purchase, etc., I have exclusively booked the salesperson for myself. You have to approach that a little more relaxed. Some things simply take a bit longer. An offer should also be meaningful and have a certain binding nature!

That takes time and cannot be done on the fly. The company surely will not make an offer only to one customer. But it’s also clear that there are always companies that don’t even bother to respond to inquiries. That can be really frustrating when you have to wait forever and don’t hear anything at all.

But to conclude about the build quality because an offer was not provided as promised is a bit far-fetched.

Everyone knows that the seller of a company, regardless of the industry, is not there for just one customer. But, as much as it pains me, a good seller can at least give a customer the feeling that he is the only and most important customer.



then the seller should please not give appointments that he cannot keep anyway. And if the preparation of the offer is delayed, then he should see it like Detective Rockford: A call is enough ;)
