Hello Wickie

The rats are very reliable when they discover a food source even once.
My titmice balls get regularly stolen. The rat simply bites through the holding string.
They also come regularly to the hedgehog food eventually.
Set up a see-saw trap and the problem is solved. Once I had a young hedgehog in such a see-saw trap. No problem. It is a live trap. Release the hedgehog and that’s it.

The squirrel was just here and searched exactly in the places where I always put the nuts. But since there were no nuts left, it ran away again. I have now put some more there. Let's see if they are gone during the day as well. The camera is also ordered, so hopefully I can see who the thief is at dusk or at night.

So. The thief has outed himself - involuntarily! A little mouse! All the freely lying nuts were gone again this morning and in the squirrel's feeder (one with a lid, which the squirrels manage to open on their own) the mouse is sitting and looking at me wide-eyed Before it locked itself in there, it actually cleared out all the nuts from there... at least 20 pieces! So it was definitely busy ops:
