Hello everyone,
I would like to widen our driveway, the small flower bed in the photo should go.
My problem, however, is that I don't have enough paving stones anymore. There are two or three pieces lying around here. I could take some from further up, from a corner where the trash bins are currently standing. I could separate this area with other stones/slabs. According to my calculation, I am still missing some stones to close the gap.
Now I am hoping for some good ideas from you. I had already thought about removing a few rows of stones down by the street in front of this wide concrete strip and laying a different kind of pavement there. I have already looked for such paving stones on eBay Classifieds but didn’t find anything. Do you have any other ideas on how I could solve this? And please no suggestions like "pave the entire driveway anew"... I am not planning that at the moment and it’s also not in the budget. Thanks

Really difficult pattern. I can understand that finding a replacement is complicated.

Unfortunately, the only idea is to lay out the trash bin area a bit larger with new slabs than you have calculated to ensure you get enough stones.

Also consider in your calculation that there are already many cut stones at the front of the raised bed and that you might not be able to reuse them.

Good luck (Or more creative advice...).

You could remove a few cobblestones at the front and fill in with concrete

I had already thought about that too. Only I don’t know if it really looks "nice" But well, none of this really looks nice. But it would be an alternative.

I need to measure that tomorrow to see if it's possible and how large the area by the garbage bins would then be. Thanks

The shape of the stone is called Arabesque / Arabesk.. Maybe that helps with the further search..
