Put lawn stones in the middle, under the car. A kind of grid where some greenery can still grow through. And then you can widen the left side with the stones that become available. The grid stones come in different colors. One gray (Help, I have to think of Loriot :D) like the one you have definitely exists.

Then you would almost have to remove the entire pavement, cut new stones, etc. The loss of stones would be enormous.
And I wouldn't want to deal with the effort with the old pavement. If it's a large area, then new.

That's also how I see it. I'm really considering redoing the entire area. I'm just a bit hesitant because of the amount of work.

But you have to like that kind of thing. I find it terrible

It's not really my thing either ;)
I'll see how much money is left over after the bathroom renovation, and I could imagine trying it myself ;)
At least the neighbors across the street managed it themselves, and for them the effort was even greater. They turned their front yard into parking spaces and first had to build a proper base. I hope I already have that with me since the stones themselves are still well placed and there are no ruts visible. But I'm still undecided ;)
