Why 2 floors instead of 3? Aren't 3 floors more practical?

Because the development plan does not allow it?
Because the ground does not allow it?
Because the space requirement (does not) allow it?
Because one staircase in a house is enough?
Because some people like many stairs?
Because you want to build age-appropriately?
Because you want to build barrier-free?
Because you have many children?
Because you are only alone or two people? see space requirement
Because everything and everyone costs per square meter?
Because a basement costs money?
Because a basement just belongs to it?
Because you don’t need a basement?

Choose an argument!

: what does a cleaning closet look like?

Our cleaning cupboard (storage room) on the ground floor has a normal room door, so it doesn’t really stand out. The one on the upper floor gets a louvered door (it could have had a normal door too, but we wanted to visually distinguish it!). So you probably can’t really call it a classic cleaning cupboard. But what does classic even mean? There are so many cupboards, doors, etc. that look really great!

And on the topic of "then I can see what’s still there": You can see that even with multiple cleaning cupboards/storage rooms. When the glass cleaner in one cupboard is running low, a new one is bought. If you’re in the upstairs bathroom and the toilet paper is running low, you don’t have to run down to the utility room on the ground floor with your pants half down (and possibly run into someone on the way!).

Whether 1, 2 or 3 floors, good planning is necessary.

We also have 3 floors without a basement, but three bedrooms on one floor. Bathroom and laundry room on the same floor.

And when the children are older, they can go all the way up. Up there (ridge height 9.5), by the way, are the nicest rooms.

And if the sqm costs €500+, it doesn’t work any other way, by the way.

And: outsource the topic "Putzschrank" ... I don’t find that so interesting ...
