Hello,

we want to buy a small hot tub for the garden. No Chinese or overseas goods, we decided on Wellis which manufactures in Hungary. The size will be 2*2 meters, possibly a few centimeters larger model.

Now we wondered if an integrated sound system with Bluetooth is even necessary. It costs about €950 extra. During the consultation, which was great, we forgot to ask; it was added as an extra charge in the offer.

Who has a smaller hot tub including a sound system and actually uses it? Or is it a nice-to-have feature but useless?

We are getting a whirlpool tub for indoors, [da gibt es auch Soundsystemen nicht]. We do like to listen to something when we are in the tub, but we will still not get one. What bothers me is that it is basically always on (if I understood correctly).

You have surely informed yourselves well about the running costs and required connections (electricity; water supply and drainage), control technology, filter systems, etc. Therefore, I probably do not need to write anything more about that. I would not take the sound system. For significantly less, you get more if you simply use a Bluetooth or WiFi speaker. You can also use this in other areas and easily replace it if something breaks. Alternatively, permanently wire outdoor speakers if you already have a multi-room solution in the house.

I would also leave it, every other autonomous system is significantly cheaper.

I would also rather leave it. A Bluetooth speaker or something similar is clearly the better choice and depending on the manufacturer, they also have good volume and great sound.
