Yes, in areas where you could switch wind sensors to calm alarm, exterior venetian blinds are probably not worthwhile :)

Three weeks ago, my 4-burner grill including the gas bottle marched 10 meters across the terrace despite blocked wheels and then tipped over onto the unfinished lawn. I was just standing in front of the house with the gardener and he said, "You, I believe your grill is falling apart" :-)

Controlled residential ventilation is technically so simple that not much can go wrong. Nothing gets filthy if you change the filters twice a year. Anyone who has had a house with controlled residential ventilation once would never buy one without it again. It’s like a central heating system; the comfort is immense.

However, it is not economical. It costs 15k and does not bring any capital return. Electricity and filter costs are at most the savings on heating costs.

As an allergy sufferer, I have an F7 filter in the supply air and simply keep the windows closed.

The wind at the notorious calm area Lake Constance can also be enough. We moved into a new office building 2 years ago and had incredible problems there. The venetian blinds were constantly raised at about 10 knots of wind. At some point, they were reprogrammed and now last Friday, despite wind force 6, they actually stayed down... A good idea in this regard can also be pleated blinds, as they keep direct sunlight out.
