How do you come to metallic? The surface is rather matte than shiny and the "wood grain" can only be really seen up close. From a distance, it’s just an anthracite-colored gate.

So you have this wood-look surface? Does it look strange under any lighting conditions? I like it very much too, and I think small scratches will be less visible on it.

Best regards

We have just installed a 5m sectional door in anthracite-woodgrain. It looks great and everyone I have spoken to so far likes it. No strange reflections!

I would say you won't see scratches on any of the surfaces. It should actually be dyed all the way through. Scratches would be hidden by the woodgrain. However, the gate should be sturdy enough that you don't get dents in it that easily.

Nothing looks strange there, nor is it supposed to be metallic-like, nor does it look metallic-colored. I don't think that means what it is, namely just a broken structure, without having to look artificial in any way.

Through-colored? - I don’t know. I suspect a coating, and black plastic in the core. I already know what it looks like, I just didn’t know the name, and then I searched for "woodgrain Garagentore" on Google Images; I see it live on the ones next to my Volksbank branch. In my opinion, it is supposed to imitate painted rough-sawn boards.
