Hello everyone, the two staircases from the ground floor to the upper floor and from the ground floor to the basement are giving us a headache. They are 1/4 turn. Standard, so included in the price, is a normal wooden staircase with wooden railing, etc., which we don’t really like. We will probably go for a concrete staircase(s) and are now pondering over the railing. Either half-high with masonry/concrete as a handrail or completely made of stainless steel or with wooden handrail and stainless steel rods? Which option is less costly here? Is it absolutely necessary to have a railing? When you google, you find world-class staircases with illuminated glass steps even without a railing. The developer said it must have a railing, otherwise it cannot be approved. Can this not be installed afterward, or would we not even be allowed to move in? Sorry for the silly questions, but somehow I’m not getting it. Regards Tobias
