You can't say that across the board. With us, the job ticket and canteen, as well as direct insurance, are still deducted beforehand. None of the three banks cared about that back then. In other words, the statutory net salary plus employer health insurance contributions were taken as income.

I had wondered whether that would affect the conditions.

Thank you for your response. I will report what we are told about it by the bank.

Only a very, very small number of banks have credit rating-dependent interest rates. The key factor for the vast majority is the loan-to-value ratio.

The credit rating basically only determines yes/no for financing.

We also received an interest rate bonus depending on creditworthiness, it was basically the next lending step. However, it was our long-standing house bank. Direct banks didn’t want to hear anything about it, it doesn’t fit the standard case.

Our income is also significantly above the amounts you mentioned, despite my wife working part-time.

I did not bother to coordinate the exact net amount with the bank, it would have been complicated for us. We wrote our figures on a form at our own discretion and provided the proofs requested by the bank.

I do not know what the bank did with it, it is not within our control anyway. More important to me was that my own calculation was correct.

However, we were introduced to the financing bank with previously known conditions; renegotiations based on the final review were not planned. Of course, the bank could still have declined.

For optimizing the credit terms and searching for the bank, the exact salary was not an issue for us, but among other things:
- [Eigenkapitalquote]
- [Beleihungshöhe von Nebenkosten/Außenanlage (Eigenkapitalquote)]
- [Tilgung (x,1% statt x,0%)]
