Why? You save yourself all the wiring and the isolation relays! This will be many times cheaper...

The radio parts are already more expensive - the few cables and the isolation relays hardly cost anything.

We are currently also installing central switches, but only for a single group, not the whole house (I see no benefit in that).

All with GIRA controls - not particularly expensive and quite simple.

Because radio transmission is not particularly reliable and is always a last resort... or for lazy people who do not want to pull cables...

The results are: forgotten commands, dead batteries, shutters moving the wrong way... and so on...

Cheap is not always good, and with wired motors you can also use different ones, e.g. after a defect you can switch to another brand... with radio transmission you are usually tied to the manufacturer...

The roller shutter installer recommended radio receivers for the switches instead of wiring or choosing radio motors. This way, the roller shutters can be easily controlled via app. Does anyone know such a system?

Manufacturer? Type?

I also control my Rademacher cable motors very easily via the web browser or app... it's all no problem...

The system is from Siral (Siralhome), alternatively there is also Somfy Tahoma. I have now been recommended a purely wireless system by several providers, as it is the most flexible to use and nowadays the standard in smart home technology.
