Which power cable is suitable for parking lot lights and socket?

Question: Suppose there are lamps and other stuff on the supply line with maybe 200-300 watts. Then a pressure washer with a rated power of 3000 watts is connected to the socket. Total approx. 3300 watts. If I now calculate: 230V * 16A = 3680 watts (maximum). Would 3x1.5mm still be sufficient? (We have laid out rolled-up underground cable 3x1.5mm). Length approx. 30m?

Hi, I would definitely take at least 5 x 2.5. The price difference is not that big now. Regards Olli

No, that is no longer sufficient. For the length and the connection value, you need 2.5 mm².

Laid out long also no. 2.5mm2 is correct.
