Yes, it is not the cheap version. We are excited about the properties, color, feel, and texture.

We also have a clay-coated wall. There are straw pieces in it, which bring the texture to the surface like with a roughcast plaster. I did it myself as well, it wasn’t difficult. Only, I saw less of the shine of the straw pieces than on the sample board. We exclusively have "natural" surfaces; the living climate has been good from the beginning. I can only recommend it. However, we have brick walls underneath, but there are also panels on the ceilings. Good luck with doing it yourself! Gabriele

Quick question again about plaster. Our general contractor plans three layers of plaster. Base coat made of lime-cement plaster (20mm), a 2mm top coat, and a 3mm fine plaster. Are three plasters normal, or is just the base coat and top coat enough, followed by painting? Thank you very much

A 2 mm top coat must already be a fine plaster or a scratch coat. The third layer is actually nonsensical, especially if two thin-layer plasters are planned there. Three layers are sometimes applied if a reinforcement layer is applied on the base coat and then a fine plaster on top of it, but such a thing is done externally if at all.
