Yes. Of course, we now know what we want thanks to the concept from the expensive one. But he came up with it, and I think he also knows how to get there? With the first one, everything is initially done on the fly. Plants are only taken care of once the rough work is done. With the expensive one, the planting concept is already in place. The first one generally doesn’t offer irrigation. No matter which system. He hasn’t had good experiences with that...

So I think you can very well read where your heart wants to go. You just want confirmation that it’s worth spending so much money. I would use the following criterion. If the money is left over and you don’t have to restrict yourself, so if otherwise you would only be boringly doing autoproduction on the financial market, then take the expensive one. If for that you can only shop at Aldi and Netto (without a dog) next year, have the rough work done by the cheap one and do the nice things later...

Yes and no. Right now I can practically not imagine what the added value is. Does it look better? Are the plants more durable/easier to care for? For example, if I have to choose between two plasterers, I might know that the cheaper one does a sloppy job and later I have a bumpy patch on the facade or wall. I can't really imagine that so well with the garden landscaper at the moment? That’s why I’m asking if you can also notice that later with garden landscaping.

You can definitely tell that. One will create a functioning garden for you (maybe not really well functioning in some places). The other thinks the topic through. There won’t be a plant standing where you wonder why that particular one is there. You will probably have more space without really knowing why, so more usable area. There will be fewer hard-to-reach plants and if there are any, they will require less care. The plant selection will certainly be more thoughtful. Natural privacy screens, shade providers in summer, wind protection in autumn, etc. The one with a concept will also work more with the terrain and not against it, so in the end he may not even be that much more expensive, because although you have “more expensive shuttering blocks,” you need far fewer of them, etc. Unfortunately, I have to do everything myself, but if I had the money and got those you described, I would think the cheap one only saves me time, but what he can do, I could do too. The expensive one can create something I couldn’t achieve in 20 years. That’s why he would be worth it to me.

Maybe with the expensive one you can have only part of it implemented directly and postpone the rest or take care of the planting yourself. That is, for example, easily possible with ours. Ours does a plan and if we implement it with him, it is charged. If not, we pay for the planning and can hire someone else or try ourselves.

think about what makes your life more positive,
a higher bank balance?
a garden that brings you joy for a long time with less gardening work?
a garden that was cheap and you see it daily?
