Hello to all tinkerers / hobbyists!
I want to set up a small workshop for tinkering in a garage. The garage has not yet been bought / ordered or will only be built....
Therefore, I am looking for some tips in advance so that I do not buy / order / have built the wrong one.....
Here are the conditions: 1. The garage will be built approx. 150m from the house in a garage complex (row garage). 2. It should be usable almost all year round (of course not at such arctic temperatures as in the last few days.... ;)) 3. I still have to determine exact dimensions, but I assume "standard size"... 4. Power connection should be possible. If not: power generator... 5. Window on the back? ...Yes!
My first thoughts: Construction method: steel? prefab garage? masonry?.... What is best? Can shelves even be hung on the wall with steel? Does the floor have to be special? (cold from below...?)
Who can give me some useful tips...?
