Which date counts for the BAFA?

Hello everyone,

I submitted an application for the renovation of individual measures in December 2024. I will easily use the max. funding for my project and would like to submit a second application for the year 2025.

The question I have is: Does the application from Dec. 2024 count for the year 2024 or 2025? The grant notice will only be issued this year.

As far as I know, the date of the application submission applies, not the invoice date. That means if you submitted an application in Dec 2024, you can apply again in 2025 – but of course only for projects you have not started yet (so it doesn’t work if, for example, you applied for windows and roof in the first application and then commissioned them, the costs are now higher than planned, and you apply for the already commissioned windows again).
