Yes, the cracks can be easily closed. Usually, a new building "settles" for a while and settlement cracks can occur. By scoring the corners, it is prevented that these cracks appear elsewhere – so you have the situation "under control" and close them when the house has settled. We preferred a rather coarse texture, so "wiping over" it is no problem. Some prefer super-smooth "raking light" surfaces, where wiping is a bit more difficult.

If I stay with the Kz, which one would be the most optimal? What would be important to me here:
- then apply white paint over it
- ecological, little chemistry (if possible)

I confirmed a processor yesterday:

I am one step further..... in the end it will now be either a gypsum plaster or a gypsum-lime plaster, both from the manufacturer Kna.....

want to paint afterward.

I would prefer gypsum-lime plaster; some processors say that the lime content is minimal, so it hardly makes a difference.

Does anyone here have experience with this or is that true?

I cannot contribute anything on the topic of gypsum plaster and gypsum-lime plaster. I would have chosen lime-cement plaster, fine plaster over that, and then painted it. Is a primer needed for later painting when using gypsum plaster and gypsum-lime plaster? Because that is also expensive. Regarding ceilings, I would definitely work with fleece. It becomes smooth and looks great. You will never get it right without fleece and will regret having saved money there for a lifetime.

I will stick to gypsum plaster…..

A painter said that with Kzp (lime-cement plaster), it would need to be skimmed twice.......it was around €4,500......without knowing the prices exactly, I claim that a primer would be cheaper, I want to do it myself.

You just have to be careful not to damage the texture or grain when you apply primer + paint over it.
