Which casement windows are suitable for cottages in country house style?

Hello everyone,
we have basically planned our little house quite thoroughly, only we are still quite undecided about the windows. We really like sash windows and we would like a cozy house in a modern country house style. However, the muntins should not look cheap. We have very simple plastic windows. Internal muntins would of course be super low maintenance, but don't they seem a bit inauthentic and somewhat cheap? What do you think? Are applied ones like e.g. GLS Clicksimplex better?
What do you think of our south view (self-made, we are currently experimenting a bit )

Unfortunately a bit chaotic .. on the one hand the vertical lines due to right- or left-alignment of the windows, but then again staggered lines because of the window sashes.

And internal muntins I really don’t like at all. The most valuable are certainly real window-dividing muntins. If done well, applied muntins are just about acceptable.

I find the appearance hideous, and that one should decide: "mullions" OR "mixed salad of freely scaled formats". The windows and French windows shown here have no common "denominator" beyond the shape category "rectangle", no repeating modular dimension of the individual pane areas. Mullions only emphasize this confusion.

Incidentally, we recently had this topic already, with extensive consideration of the aspect "influence of mullions on the U-value": - so I won’t repeat anything here, it’s already there, still quite fresh.
