Wow - where do all the people live for all these garages? I know garage yards here with 30-40 garages, which I find already ugly, but yours are hundreds. Definitely the 140! Entrance in the north, garden in the south. Often people put the bedroom in the north, but with the hundreds of old garages (70s?) with squeaking swing gates, I would think twice about that... Better to shovel snow on two streets – that doesn't happen that often anymore.

The previous opinions also confirm our feeling. Thank you.

Within town, so 50 km/h. After several inspections, my assessment is that there are none or hardly any trucks driving there, if at all, rather smaller delivery vehicles. It also does not seem to be heavily trafficked, but one will probably have to expect some noise.

Up until the reunification, 50,000 people lived here; now with several incorporations, it is half that. Entire streets of prefabricated buildings were demolished in this area. I assume that’s when the garages were built. I don’t know if they are still all used today.

I am clearly in favor of the 133.

Reason: I imagine living between two streets to be more unpleasant; furthermore, you would not have real privacy in the garden from any side. The graffiti wall would bother me less in that regard because if the noise level were unpleasant, I would simply put my own green wall in front of it and additionally shrubs or something similar. However, there is the possibility that the garage complex will also be converted into a development area, then everything will be open again.

Maybe you can still find that out to better estimate the noise level. Basically, I like the garages. If you can't fit everything in your bungalow (workshop, sports equipment, hobbies, etc.), you can rent one or two more garages. Hmm, I have now thought about it again and felt it through and still can't decide between the two plots. The one between the two streets is of course more "open" and there is more "life," more to see. Without children, neither of the two streets poses a greater danger.

but the 133 is oriented towards north-northeast, which in my opinion is the least favorable direction if you also want a bit of sun; on the house side facing the garage there is always shade. Best regards Sabine

Yes, you are right; I hadn’t considered that.

Is there such a thing as dyslexia with regard to cardinal directions?
