Load-bearing walls are usually where another wall (or other weight) sits above. If the load-bearing component (this wall) is moved, its function is lost, regardless of whether a new wall is built 30cm next to it. In the worst case, this acts like scissors on the supported ceiling. I would also call the structural engineer and ask him for advice on the right brick. What are the other walls made of? "Somehow" everything works, but "matching the whole house" is usually the most correct. :cool:
