Hello, we are currently planning the outdoor area, and among other things, the paver is supposed to pave a parking space for us where 2 cars can stand side by side comfortably.

Unfortunately, we don’t have much space (the house takes up a lot of room), and now I want to make the best of it...

Now my question.

How wide does the parking space have to be so that 2 cars can stand side by side comfortably?
Next to it, I would also like to have a path about 1.2 m wide to walk to the house.

The property boundary is 3 meters from the house (right side).

P.s.
Maybe someone has a good idea how I can nicely place 2 cars?
They should be on the right side somewhere.
There is no garage and no carport.
They should be simple parking spaces.
Thanks to you

You really need 5 meters for parking. I actually think more like 5.5 meters!

Our driveway is 4 meters wide. I would prefer a wider driveway. But it's enough for 1 car.

Our architect said, I believe, 2.50 meters per parking space in the conversation, so that you can also comfortably get in and out (of course, it also depends a bit on the car). We have now drawn in and applied for 3 meters each, but they are not next to each other for us.

Path and 2 cars I would take 7m, if you don't want to squeeze into the car like in an underground garage. Is there a fence or open space next to the parking space? If there is no fence, you can park closer to the edge of the parking space and still open the door without any problems. In this case, it can also be a bit narrower.

I would calculate 2.5 m per car, then 0.5 m between and to the sides plus the path of 1.5 m. In total, it is 8 m.

Darunter auf keinen Fall!
