What should we pay attention to in the soil report?

We only had the small drillings plus analysis of the core and then foundation recommendations for with and without a basement. And our builder expected nothing else.

What did you pay for that? If I may ask.

What was included in the offer? Are you from Bavaria, can you recommend it to us?

To me, as a layperson, it looked quite extensive. Geological preliminary investigation and engineering geological report.
Soil structure, groundwater depth, load-bearing capacity, and always recommendations included.

This is one of the offices that our general contractor always recommends. So they are satisfied with it. It wasn’t expensive, so I am satisfied too.

I am from Bavaria, they are not. They are from Central Germany, but the travel costs are flat rate anyway.

The simple version with two drillings should be sufficient.

Thank you for your answer. There are more assessments regarding soil composition, soil function, etc. in the report, but they are presented rather descriptively. But that means I definitely need the report and could also commission it before the actual house planning?
