Hello everyone,
to gain living space, we are planning a new attic construction with dormers. Due to the low roof pitch of 28 degrees, a knee wall/dwarf wall is planned.
The responsible building authority has approved the planned knee wall with a height of 65 cm in a building preliminary inquiry.
The attic will probably be our study room and it would of course be great if the bottom edge of the window glass is at desk height (76 cm), so that one can also enjoy a nice view while sitting.
Now the big question: how high should the knee wall be chosen for this? Presumably, the 65 cm are too high, right?
Best regards,
Peter
