What is the difference between IKEA SELSVIKEN and TOFTA Besta doors?

I would like to complement my Besta combination with the current high-gloss white Selsviken doors. I like the discontinued tofta doors (also high-gloss white with glass insert, you can still get them second-hand via classifieds, etc.).

Now I would like to know if they can be combined without any problems. Initial research showed that Selsviken is a bit lighter and the curves are a bit stronger. But whether this is noticeable when you combine them, I unfortunately do not know. Has anyone combined the two before and could report? A photo would be ideal, of course.

I have combined Selsviken and Tofta doors, but in different colors. In terms of shape and fit, they are completely identical. The Selsviken doors in 60x38 have holes so they can also be used as drawer fronts, which the Tofta did not have in this size. Regarding the shade of white, I think they will match. All foil surfaces at Ikea are the same.

I don't believe they match. Ikea has gradually adjusted the furniture series slightly. For the carcasses, only the colors and item numbers were slightly changed, for the fronts new names were assigned. For the kitchens, this was done in the course of the switch to Metod, for Pax earlier and for BESTA later (I think beginning of 2015).

Tofta was before this color change, back then the BESTA carcasses also had a different shade. There is a difference, how minimal it is depends on the eye of the beholder. On the other hand, the new SELSVIKEN also match color-wise with the high-gloss kitchen fronts and PAX fronts.
